A Tragus related revelation!

So, anyone who knows me personally will know I have wanted my Tragus pierced for a looooong time! However, I don't know whether it's because I have had my ears pinned back or not, but I have tiny Tragus' (or Tragi, or whatever the plural of Tragus is!). This has left me disappointed, and instead I have turned to planning one or two (or four!) tattoos.

Anyway, I digress. I just happened to be browsing around on Facebook, which is what most nights consist of, and I came across  Junkitlove and all of a sudden, an answer to my Tragus related problems appeared:

TRAGUS CUFFS! Oh my gosh I can't even tell you how excited I was when I saw this! So excited in fact that I messaged Donna, the creator of these goodies, via her Facebook to tell her how wonderful her creations are! A Tragus Cuff costs £6 including delivery, which I think is incredibly reasonable for something handmade and so damn unique. I checked Amazon to see if I had just overlooked something that has been around for ages, but nope, not a Tragus Cuff in sight!

These beauties are not the only things that Donna makes, she also makes nose cuffs, ear cuffs, other jewellery, beautiful glasswork, and some um, lets say more specialist items. Please check out her Facebook for more photos and her full portfolio. Here are some of my favourites:

A beautiful Goddess

I could go on all day about how excited I am for Tragus Cuffs, but I think you already get the picture! I think these are great for people scared of the pain of piercing, or you young'uns whose parents can still tell you 'no'!

One more plug for good measure! You really should go check out Junkitlove for unique, lovely handmade things, go, go now!

A little haul, I blame Rosie...

Good Evening!

I hope that you are all enjoying Englebert on Eurovision as I type!

So I am already all bathed and hair washed and moisturised, now I am on the nail painting, Stella Cidre drinking and watching Eurovision. So while my toenails are drying I thought I would share this little lot with you...

This was actually the last thing I picked up but I couldn't resist it for £2. This is from the jewellery in sale in New Look, that I have probably scoured about 6 times now, and have not noticed this little beauty before. I love the little elephants and the hand, and for £2 there was no way I was leaving it there!

This was actually the first thing I picked up, and, isn't it amazing! It matches my pineapple sunglasses! I am so taking this bad boy on holiday... I am sure Sam will have something to say about it but oh well. I thought this was a drawstring bag but it actually has a zip on the back, so it's pretty secure :) I love it, it was £7.99 which was maybe a bit much but I think it's ace, and Rosie talked me into it!

My mission for comfy sandals is never ending! They either rub or are too tight or too loose or just annoy me. But these, I am confident in. With them being elastic I have a feeling they will sort of 'hug' my foot and not rub, I hope so anyway. I will be testing them in this lovely weather. These were £9.99 a pair, and if they are comfy, they are worth every penny to me!

These last two pieces are what I like to call my 'throw over my bikini to go to the bar / buffet' ensemble. The top, I think, is lovely, and a bargain for £3.99. They did this in several colours, and I could have easily bought them all but I refrained. It's not easy to see the pattern in this picture but it's kind of a sheer paisley type material and is so light and soft.

I have to tell a little story about the shorts. I had already picked up a pair for £6.99 that were slightly different, they were a bit baggier and darker grey. Anyway, I went to the pyjama section, and these were there for £3.99, so I bought these instead, smart saving huh?!

Anyway, that's all I got, and now I have no need to go town for a while, and I am pretty sure I have everything for my holiday. We're pretty much settled on Menorca, just waiting for some final confirmations then we can book YEYYYY! So excited.

Anyway, I am going to get back to Eurovision, just for a time frame, we are on Cyprus performing now, she is pretty good, quite catchy!

So see you soon :)

Good Evening!

And this evening is a lot better than last night! I mean, I had lovely company in my Uncle and Rosie, but man was I poorly. I mean, it's completely my own fault, one cocktail too many on Wednesday night, well, several really, ended up with a twisted ankle and a sore hip, but yeah, definitely my own fault.

(OOTD, FOTD) No more Hauls! Ok maybe a little one...

Good Afternoon!

So after approximately 1 hour at college today, I found myself coming home again, although I must say that hour was quite productive.

Anyway, this has left me with a little bit of time to share yesterdays haul with you, before I start doing some work.

So I went to town yesterday. My aim was to buy a couple of birthday presents and some heel grips, both of which I got...and some added extras...

So I picked up a Lip Boom whilst in Superdrug. These 4 in 1 lip products are a collaboration between Alexandra Burke and MUA. For £3 I think this is a pretty nifty product. You get a lipstick and a glittery gloss that can be used separately or together. You also get a little bit of extra product in the end which is nice and tiny and is therefore very portable, (although it doesn't have it's own lid). I think this one is called 'Bring it' and is a lovely reddy pink. The camera shows it more pink than it actually is but I love it and I can't wait to try it out properly.

I also picked up the new Sleek i-Divine Ultra Mattes Bright Palette. I have been eyeing this up for a while and patiently waiting for it to be released.

I love all the colours in this! I am also pleased it is matte as I don't own that many matte colours (well apart from on my huge palette which is not that easy to transport). I used this palette with my MUA pastel palette today and I am really pleased with it, I will do some swatches soon! This palette was £6.50, but all cosmetics are on 3 for 2 in Superdrug at the moment so there are bargains to be had.

And I also popped into PoundWorld!

Now a box of tissues isn't that interesting really, but I love Me 2 U Bears :D

And then on to Boots!

I wanted to try out the new Bourjois nail polish remover, but they didn't have it, so I thought I would try this one instead, and at £2.50, it was worth a try. I also picked up my trusty Simple Shampoo to use when my scalp needs a helping hand.

Zest was another stop!

Not much to say, needed a cheapy foundation brush, bought one for £2.99 :)

New Look was a bad decision...

Just a couple more bargains to add to the collection! The two short necklaces were £3 each and the charm necklace and hair clip were £2 each, bargain-tastic :)

I honestly did not mean to go into Republic, I swear!

Now, I saw a pair of these leggings marked up at £7, but this pair were marked at £10, took them to the till, apparently they were still £10 (boo!) but I couldn't resist them! I can't wait to wear them with a pastel top and some sandals.  I also couldn't resist this ring, I have never seen one like it before and for £2 I thought it was too cute to pass up on!

So there we have it for shopping. The great news is that I now have enough Boots Advantage points to order my Chanel Palette, that I have been saving my points for since I got the card when I was 16, I have been so dedicated!

Besides that excitement, here's todays OOTD and FOTD (shock horror, a picture of my face!)

Jumper- Tesco, £7 in sale
Kirsten Jeans- TopShop Sale, £20
Brogues- Primark, (last year)

Hair Clip- New Look, £2 in sale
(under hair) 'Bump It' style thing- pack of 5 in varying sizes from Poundland
Earrings- in sale, can't remember where
Necklace- New Look, £3 in sale

On Eyes:

3 Shades from MUA Pastel Palette and Strike from Sleek Ultra Matte Bright Palette

 4 Ring Stack- H&M, £2.99
Panda Ring- Rosie Apple
Hamsa Hand Ring- New Look, £1.50 in sale

I opted for a light outfit today with the weather being somewhat nice, saying that I did get rained on, the only time it rained was between me leaving the door of college and getting on the bus! Typical!

Anyway, bit of an update on my She Said Beauty Box tomorrow, so until then :)

Unique Beads Promotional Discount

Good Evening!

So today I am feeling even more pants! I was supposed to be at work, but ended up spending the day half in bed, and half on the sofa. The boyfriend has been very nice looking after me, so it's not all bad.

Anyway, I just have one little thing to share with you tonight. The last part of my haul appeared through the post yesterday...

This little beauty arrived from Unique Beads. I had originally seen it on Essie Button's channel in one of her videos. I went to see if I could find it straight away, but it had sold out. Then Rosie told me a smaller version was in stock, so naturally I had to get it!

I love the colour and the fact the beads are real stone, and it's hand made. The skull is so cute too!

This bracelet cost me £5.75 inc. shipping, because I used Rosie's discount code.

Now, when my little parcel arrived, I also received a discount code to share. The code entitles you to 15% off. So, if you fancy treating yourself make sure you check out Unique Beads and use the code LAT8 at the checkout.

(If you decide to buy something I am pretty sure you will get your own discount code to share, and if you generate 10 sales you get a little treat from the company, cool huh?)

Enjoy :)

One Big Haul! (Pic Heavy)

Good Evening!

So this weekend I have had the family over to stay, which is always lovely, however, thanks to Rosie, I am now broke, due to some immense shopping. So I won't waste space babbling, let's get to it! This haul is over a week, so let's begin at the beginning...

So on Tuesday I was meant to just be popping to Pets at Home to pick up some rat bits and pieces, however, I also fell into Homesense...

I only picked up a couple of bits. From the clearance I spied these cute baskets, priced between £1 and £3, I thought they were so cute and great for the price. As you can see I have already put them to good use!

I have been after some nice storage for my make-up brushes and my combs and things, and I decided tins were the way forward. These were £2 each, I am not using the lids but I have put them aside for safe keeping.

So I was very pleased with my Homesense trip!

As you will know from my post on Saturday, I have been wandering around car boot sales this weekend. Saturday's was a freezing cold disaster, Sunday was a much more pleasant experience. The sun was shining and I was actually warm! I didn't get much, just a little present for Rosie, and a present for me...

I already have two vintage Quality Street tins that I am currently using to store my lipsticks (I plan to do a new make-up storage post soon). So to go along with the chocolate tin theme, I picked up this Roses tin, my dad did some haggling and got me it for £2, so I am happy with that. Yes, it's not quite vintage, it's only from 1993, but it looks the part and it will be vintage one day!

Speaking of Homesense, and tins, once mum and Rosie turned up on Sunday, we ended up back at Homesense...

I just couldn't resist these Marmite tins at £1.99 each. I love marmite and marmite branded things, so I just had to have these, I will find a use for them I am sure.

And, well, I just had to have more baskets, how could I resist more cheap pretty-ness! And besides, now all my teddies look neat and tidy (yes, I am 22, I like teddies, I don't care!).

Then we FINALLY made it into town! Because I have been working a lot recently it's been a while since I have had a look at what the high street has to offer at the moment. I have seen a couple of 'lust-haves' on youtube and things, but more on that later. First we went to the shops we needed to go to...

Boots had 3 for 2 on Simple Skincare, so I picked up these wipes to try, instead of the normal green packet ones. I have oily skin so I am curious to see how much difference these make, compared to the normal wipes. I will get back to you on this.

(you will notice that some of my clothes are modelled beautifully by manny, my gorgeous assistant!)

So then we went to places we didn't really need to go, but it seemed we needed to spend money there, first on the list was H&M...

Rings- £2.99
Bum Bag- £9.99 (for my holidays!)
Boob Tubes / Tube Skirts- £2.99 - £3.99 (I bought 3 but one will be appearing later!)
Dress- £10 (scouted out by Rosie, she convinced me to buy it)

Unfortunately this shopping trip was cut short by me having a funny turn, (gotta love feeling dizzy and faint), but fear not, as I am now fine, and we were able to venture out again today. This was when the bank balance took a real kicking, I blame Rosie for suggesting we go shopping again today...

First stop, H&M, again...

T-shirts- £2.99 - £3.99 (I got 2 more but these will be featured later)
Vest with Lace bottom- £3.99

Then we just sort of 'fell' into Zara. I knew there was something I really wanted from there, but I didn't know if it was in our local store. However, when I saw it, it was just like there was a light beaming down on it and there was angels singing and I just glided over to it and as if by magic there was one left in my size...

This is the most beautiful jacket I have ever seen. It is just a mish mash of flowery colourful goodness with a zip and black trimming. I am just in love with the light fabric, and the fit and everything about it, I think I will wear it forever. It's quite unusual for me to pay full price for things, I usually wait until the sale, but I just had to have this now, so I did part with £29.99 for it, but I love it so much, and I was just happy when I bought it, and that's always a good sign!

And then, Rosie suggested we go to Topshop, and this was my downfall, they had a sale you see!

(top to bottom, left to right)

Beaded Bracelet Cuff- £3.50
Neck Cuff- £4.50
Peace Rosary- £3.50
Skull and Spike Necklace- £3.50
Spike Necklace- £3.50

Short Waterfall Dress- £10
Floor Length Waterfall Dress- £10 (shown with plain white t-shirt from H&M £3.99)
Waterfall Skirt- £10 (shown with plain grey t-shirt from H&M £3.99)
Mint Leggings- £7

Kristen Jeans- £20

I would like to point out at this point that I rarely buy anything from TopShop full price, considering that full price the jeans were meant to be £40, and the fact I got this little lot for £62 (I got student discount on all sale items!), I am very impressed, and now I am so excited for my holiday!

Then just to hurt my purse a bit further, I was convinced I needed to go to New Look!

Hamsa Hand Ring- £1.50
Bikini- Top £14.99, Bottoms £7.99 (I think!)but I got student discount :)
Bandeau- £4 in sale

Then we had to leave town, because I had run out of hand space for shopping bags, and mum and Rosie needed to go home.

Speaking of Rosie (again!) she brought me something she had bought for me in the New Look in another town

Grey Maxi Skirt- £7 (shown with boob tube from H&M, £2.99)

So FINALLY, my favourite purchase of the whole week has to be my stamp ring from Rosie Apple

I just love it, I had to show you it with the packaging because it is so cute, and Rosie makes the boxes herself.

So yeah, that's my favourite thing, but I am loving everything I have bought, but now I can't go to town for a long long long time!

So that's it from me tonight, see you tomorrow :)
